The school has a focus on the arts, with Music and ballet lessons for all of our grades. Instruction is in English but we do have Japanese classes for student to develop a second language. We serve mostly the Yamato, Sagamihara area and Atsugi base. We offer bus services to our students and we do require teachers to be on the bus duty rotation. A typical day for teachers would start at 8:30 and end at 16:30 but teachers leave earlier if they have an early bus duty that day. Our classes have about 20 students each with one lead teacher and one assistant. Students enjoy seasonal themes in their learning, while phonics and basic math skills are taught as well. We are looking for a teacher who is able to prepare and teach preschool lessons while creating a fun, safe and nurturing environment for our students. We have the classes prepare for their Christmas and Halloween performance where the children get on stage and perform both songs and dances.
